Groups ask FCC to change broadband definition
The Federal Communications Commission should raise the qualifying download speeds for broadband from 25 Mbps to a minimum of 100 Mbps, Next Century Cities, Public Knowledge and Common Cause said in an FCC filing. Video streaming is one major impetus for the proposed change, as are telehealth and education in rural areas.
